Technician
How long have you been working in the veterinary field? I have been working in the field for about 5-6 years, starting with my technician school internship.
What made you want to work in the veterinary field? I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and had initially grown up wanting to be a veterinarian. I can’t picture myself doing any other job. My dream job would be to win the lottery, move to the Dominican Republic, and open an animal sanctuary.
What do you like about your job? I like helping those that don’t have a voice. I especially enjoy meeting new animals every day and treating them like they are my own.
How many pets do you have? I have two dogs, a Maltese named “Baby,” and a Black Lab named “South.”
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working? In my free time I like to try out new restaurants and go hiking. I especially enjoy party planning and decorating. And of course, I love any time I get to spend with my pups.
