Dr. Caltabilota is a great vet with awesome bedside manner. He makes sure you feel comfortable – like you’re talking to someone who cares instead of a doctor with lingo that you don’t understand! My pets love him too!

Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy, but having Tom come to our home, where our boxer, Vaughn felt safe and comfortable on her bed made a difficult process better than I could have imagined. He took his time explaining everything to us, step by step and then giving us as much time as we needed with her to say our goodbyes. We have and will continue to recommend Dr. Caltabilota. We will never be able to thank him enough.
Dr Caltabilota helped my mother with her dog Emma. He arrived when he said he would, he was very professional and very caring. We are grateful to have found someone like him that was able to come to the house and help us in our difficult time. Can’t thank you enough!! God bless.
Dr. Caltabilota is very thorough, knowledgeable and will take the time to answer your questions and make sure you are comfortable with all treatment. I like that he is kind with your pet and will only recommend what is absolutely necessary.
There are not enough ways to describe how wonderful City by the Sea is. I was so excited when their sign first went up that there was a vet coming to town. I was there during their first week and I knew they were special. Dr Tom is the most incredible vet I have ever had. He is knowledgeable, empathetic and truly has provided excellent care for both my rescue bulldogs. He takes the time to explain things clearly. Karen is truly one of the kindest and most authentic people I have met. She also always makes time for people and loves all the pets so much. The whole team is wonderful and I (and Maggie and Lola) are very grateful for them!
Just having moved, I was sad to lose my old vet, but City by the Sea was just wonderful. They took the time to explain everything needed and spread out his vaccinations so my dog wasn't overwhelmed. The exam rooms are comfortable. Most importantly, my dog isn't nervous here. The staff made sure he was given lots of positive attention. Highly recommended City by the Sea Veterinary.

The entire staff is incredibly nice and sweet to their patients. There were 3 people in the room with my dog and I appreciated the additional insight and patience listening to our issues at hand. They made the extra effort to call the day after my dog got a shot to make sure he was feeling okay - which I thought was incredibly sweet as these places are often busy.
City by the Sea was not my baby's usual vet. My dog, Valentine, was not feeling well and they had availability to see her immediately. Dr. Bri and her assistant were amazing. They took really good care of my baby. Unfortunately, they were the ones that had to break the bad news that my girl had cancer. They were very compassionate. We decided to have our baby cross over the Rainbow Bridge at home. The vet service that came to our home notified City by the Sea and they sent us a beautiful sympathy card with everyone's condolences. It really meant a lot to us.
