Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Conway has been with City By The Sea Veterinary Hospital since 2019. She brings with her over 25 years of experience as a general practitioner in small animal medicine.
She initially became interested in veterinary medicine as a 7th grader living in upstate New York. Following that passion, she received a Bachelor’s in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts and then earned her veterinary degree from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. While she initially envisioned life as a mixed animal practitioner (treating both large and small animals) or zoo/wildlife veterinarian, after graduation she started practicing small animal medicine and surgery and eventually focused on small animal medicine.
Dr. Conway has a special interest in caring for senior pets and helping them live longer, healthier lives. She believes good preventive care throughout a pet’s life, which includes regular exams to address physical and behavioral issues, is a cornerstone to this goal.
Dr. Conway lives in Monmouth County with her veterinarian husband and her son, Ryan. She has a blind rescue pug named Izzy and four cats, Sookie, Rumple, Cutie Pie and Zesty, that rule the household. In her free time she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking and visiting friends and family.
