What types of pet issues do you handle at urgent care?

We are here to see your pet with whatever you feel is a problem, but it is not life-threatening. We handle a variety of emergencies, but the most common ones we see are ear infections, rashes, wounds and lacerations, urinary tract infections, vomiting, and diarrhea.

When should a pet owner not wait for an appointment and bring their pet in for urgent care?

Situations where you shouldn't wait for an appointment include trouble breathing, trouble urinating, pain, seizures, anything along those lines.

Do I need an appointment for my pet for urgent care?

What should I bring with me to urgent care?

All you really need is just you and your pet, but if you can bring anything to help us with a diagnosis, that would be great. So, videos of anything abnormal that your pet's doing or even samples would be great.

Will you send the records and results from my pet’s urgent care visit to my regular vet?

Yes, they will. As long as you give us the information about your regular vet, we will send the records right over.

What kind of treatments do you offer for pet urgent care?

We have a wide variety of treatments depending on the diagnosis, but usually wound repairs, splint and bandage placement, oxygen therapy, unblockings, it really varies.

Are follow-up visits necessary for pet urgent care appointments?

Follow-up visits are not always necessary for urgent care, but it is best to follow the recommendations from the veterinarian on the case. A complete nose-to-tail exam.

Does pet insurance cover urgent care?

Most pet insurance plans do cover things like urgent care and emergencies. However, I would look into the policy to make certain that they do.

We also encourage the use of CareCredit, which is great!
