Associate Veterinarian
Originally from Union, NJ, Kaitlin grew up in a home filled with just about every kind of pet you can imagine—so it’s no surprise that veterinary medicine became her calling. Her journey began at Wagner College in Staten Island, she continued with a Master’s degree from Monmouth University, and then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George University in Grenada.
After practicing in central New Jersey for some time, she was excited to make the typical Jersey girl migration south and towards the shore. Currently, Kaitlin focuses on general practice, urgent care, surgery, and international health certificates. She is passionate about caring for all animals, and is always especially happy to see pocket pets, feathery friends and scaly reptile friends walk (or crawl) through the door.
Hi guys, I'm Dr. Kaitlin Eppinger. I'm one of the veterinarians here at City by the Sea Vet in Asbury Park. This is my dog, Pippin. I've been in veterinary medicine for about six years. I'm from New Jersey and attended St. George University in Grenada.
I work with dogs, cats, small animals, and lizards. My favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is educating owners on the best ways to care for their family members.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time outdoors, relaxing with family, and catching up on sleep! My partner and I partner share a home with my crazy dog Pippin, chatty bird Pequito, and a chameleon... and that's all the pets, at least for now!
